Master of Science in Education

About

Learn to design effective instructional materials and implement effective strategies for workplace learning and performance improvement.

The Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) degree in instructional systems technology provides you with an in-depth introduction to analyzing, developing, and evaluating educational tools, programs, and systems to be used in education or training settings.

This 36-minimum-credit-hour program includes coursework, an internship, and a yearlong studio project conducted under faculty supervision. It is offered as either a residential or an online program.

The residential program is delivered as a studio program in which student teams work under faculty mentorship on a yearlong project sharing workspace in the Master's Studio. You'll be able to apply what you learn in foundation courses while gaining real-world experience during your capstone project.
