I am involved in a variety of projects ranging from the spectroscopy of metal containing peptides to the investigation of the chemical origins of the physical properties of metallo-mesogens (metal containing liquid crystals).  During my time in the Zaleski Research group, I have constructed spectroscopic equipment, synthesized metalloenediynes, and have analyzed a variety of molecules, spanning the array of research interests in the Zaleski Laboratory.
