Note: I will add the Xerox Phaser 7750DN printer, which is located in the alcove area in Von Lee.
You will need Administrative privileges to Install the printer manually. Please contact VPURIT staff for assistance.

1. Click on the Start Menu in the bottom-left of the screen, and click on “Printers and Faxes”.
   
   
   
   
2. Click on “Add a Printer” in the top-left of the Printers and Faxes window
   
   
   
   
3. Click next on the first menu, and then you will see the box below, where you will click “Local printer attached to this computer” and then click next
   
   
   
   
4. After the wizard finishes searching the Plug and Play printers, Click Next to install the printer manually
   
   
   
   
5. Select the option “Create a new port Type of port” and select “Standard TCP/IP Port” from the drop down menu
   
   
   
   
6. Click Next on the First menu, and then you will see a dialogue box for adding a port. Enter the following IP address 10.79.29.4 for  Xerox Phaser 7750DN printer in the first column and click Next.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Select “Xerox” from the manufacturer list and then click on “Have Disk”. The drivers are stored on VPUR Drive at V:\tech\7750w2kps. Browse to the location of the driver and click OK.
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. Select “Xerox Phaser 7750DN PS” from the list and Click Next
   
   
   
   
9. Select the Option “Keep the Existing driver” and Click Next. Enter the Printer Name as “Xerox Phaser 7750DN PS” and Select the option “Yes” for making the printer as your Default printer and Click Next
   
   
10. Select the option “Do not share this printer” and click Next. Select Yes for printing a Test page and Click Next. Click on Finish to install the printer successfully.
