Outlook 2003 / 2007: Calendars - Viewing Someone Else's Calendar

-Note: The Calendar function in Outlook 2003 and 2007 is one of the most useful tools in the program. View another person's calendar to schedule a meeting or look for a coworker's availability.

1. With Microsoft Outlook open, click on the Calendar tab.
2. Under My Calendars on the left side of the screen, click Open a Shared Calendar
3. In the Open a Shared Calendar window, click Name
4. Type the last name, comma, then the first name or the resource name (such as "VPUR Dell Projector") for the calendar you would like to view.
5. The address book will update as you type. Once the correct name comes into the window, highlight it and click OK. Click OK again.
6. You can view this person’s Outlook Calendar by checking the box next to their name.
-Note: It is useful to add the following calendars:CS Vacation Calendar, OCM Vacation/PTO, VPUR Dell Projector, VPUR Dell Laptop and IUB Carmichael Video Conf. Rm. 201. This is done by entering these names into the Open a Shared Calendar window.
