Mapping a Network Drive |

-Note: When trying to map network drives from home be aware that you may experience some problems. Be sure to use ads\username and you password when authenticating to the server. Here is a list of available drives:
- University Communications use \\bl-vpur-server.ads.iu.edu\Comm instead of userdata
- University Marketing use \\bl-vpur-server.ads.iu.edu\Marketing instead of userdata
- \\bl-vpur-server.ads.iu.edu\vpur (Drive used by all University Relations staff)
- \\bl-pagr-web.ads.iu.edu\webs (Web share used by Creative Services, University Communications and Marketing staff)
- \\bl-vpur-server.ads.iu.edu\New_Media or \\129.79.29.5\New_Media (New Media share used by Creative Services staff)
- \\129.79.29.1\archives (Archived Creative Services jobs on Mac server "Grafix)
- \\129.79.29.1\Hal (New Creative Services file share on Mac server "Grafix", contains Staff and Project data)
- \\129.79.29.1\Tech (Tech share on Mac server "Grafix")

| (If you are mapping this drive from home, then be sure to make a VPN connection first. Check out "Using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) at IU" if you need assistance with this.) |

If you need to reconnect a missing network drive, first try to log out and log back in. This will automatically reconnect all of the network drives. If that does not work continue with step two. |

Go to your desktop and Right-click on your “My Computer” shortcut. |

Click “Map Network Drive.” |

Type one of the server addresses listed above and click finish.

Important: Make sure that the “Reconnect at logon” box is checked. |

You will be able to get to this drive by double-clicking on “My Computer.” |
