Provost Professor

Nominees for this prestigious award are expected to have achieved local, national and international acclaim both for their research/creative activity and for their teaching.  In 2009, the honorific rank of Chancellor Professor was renamed Provost Professor to reflect changes in the administrative structure of the Bloomington campus. This professorship brings honor to members of the faculty who have achieved local, national, and international distinction in both teaching and research/creative activity and their interaction.
