Provost Professor and Tracy M. Sonneborn Award

Letter of Intent Deadline: November 1
Full Dossier: December 1

Nominees for these prestigious awards are expected to have achieved local, national and international acclaim both for their research/creative activity and for their teaching. In 2009, the honorific rank of Chancellor Professor was renamed Provost Professor to reflect changes in the administrative structure of the Bloomington campus. Winners of the Sonneborn Award give a public lecture focused on the intersections of their research and teaching accomplishments, at a gala reception in their honor and also in honor of new Provost Professors.
