Research in the Voice Physiology Lab centers on audiovocal integration for voice motor control. Behavioral, acoustic,
and functional neuroimaging techniques are used to study the voluntary and reflexive mechanisms used for voice control
during singing and speech production.

Research Assistants are needed to help with acoustic, behavioral & fMRI studies of auditory perception & voice motor control. Responsibilities include screening hearing, running experiments, recording responses, analyzing data, and maintaining equipment. Qualified applicants are responsible, detail-oriented undergraduate or graduate students in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
