UITS Staff Announcements

    UITS annual community service programs
It is that time of year again! May the holiday spirit empower you to participate in one or all of the following programs we are proudly involved in...

  • HEADSTART TOY DRIVE (IUB)- Monroe County HeadStart is a school program for low income children, 3 to 5 years old. Each year we are given 250+ name tags reflecting a child's name, age and gender. Clothes and other basic need items are provided through other sponsors. We are asked to provide TOYS/GAMES ONLY (new, not used).

No child will be left out. Headstart will purchase toys for children that remain on our list past the deadline.

To benefit the children in the Monroe County HeadStart Program: Grab a name tag from the bowl on the reception desk in the CIB lobby nearest the coffee station; put your name beside the number on the sign up sheet; and return a new, unwrapped, gender/age appropriate toy by Friday, December 9th. Monetary contributions are welcome. $20 can buy three to five nice toys depending on the sales we come across. Contacts: Toni Usrey, Lynda Johnson, and Heather Hubbard.
