Multimedia Training Development Intern

Overview of the internship project:
Will assist with the creation and organization of multimedia content used to inform the university community about new technology developments, software tips and tutorials, and other training and education resources such as instructor-led workshops.
Possible projects include: assisting with writing, recording and producing a series of podcasts or vodcasts; creating and revising web pages and multimedia tutorials; and identifying creative multimedia strategies for effectively communicating with IU students.
Description of duties:
- Assist with the creation and organization of content used in podcasts, vodcasts, web pages, videos, and other multimedia objects for use in
training delivery and general communication.
- Propose ideas for creatively reaching student audiences using multimedia, podcasts, wikis, blogs, and other related technologies, and assist in
developing the associated resources.
Qualifications- (including academic background and any work experience desired):
The position would be ideal for a junior or senior with coursework or experience in creating podcasts, web pages, video, or other multimedia presentations, but is open to anyone with good computing skills who is creative, well organized, and has a genuine interest in multimedia production, podcasts, wikis, blogs and related technologies. Interest in online delivery of training and communication is required. Basic knowledge of multimedia applications and the ability to create, edit, and prepare digital audio files is strongly preferred.
