Position Available: Support Center Consultant

The UITS Support Center is hiring consultant positions. Consultants are required to work between 20 and 36 hours per week. The starting wage is $9.00 for most shifts with a raise to $9.25 after passing the 90 day probationary period. We require a commitment to work at least a full calendar year.

Consultants provide technical assistance to all IU affiliates over multiple services such as phone, email, chat, and walk-in at three locations at IU Bloomington. Duties for all consultants include, but are not limited to, providing technical and troubleshooting support for both Windows and Macintosh desktops, mobile devices, IU central systems, networking, and updating technical articles in the IU Knowledge Base. Some consultants may also track system outages and post notices to inform IU affiliates. We are committed to providing the best possible customer service during every single customer contact.

Our service extends 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our schedules are set on a semester basis.
