Maintenance and Custodial Requests
This information is for the use of University Information Technology Services (UITS) and OVPIT staff occupying facilities at IUB. Other staff should follow their departmental guidelines on requesting maintenance or custodial services. Please contact UITS Facilities staff at uitsfac@indiana.edu with your request for repairs or custodial services.
Note that in general, maintenance is provided by the University at no cost to departments only when it applies to common spaces and equipment, utilities, etc. If your request is specific to UITS assigned space and/or departmental equipment (e.g. moving a light switch, adding a new electrical outlet, painting a room, etc.), you will most likely need to provide an account number to charge. If you have a facility-related emergency and are unable to contact UITS Facilities staff in a timely manner, contact IU Physical Plant at 855-8728 (Day) or IU Control center at 855-9514 (Nights).
