Abilene NOC Notification Policy
Overview
It is the policy of the Abilene Network Operations Center to provide
the timeliest and most informative network availability notification
texts to our users and customers. It is a mission critical function
that requires quick action by the NOC staff.
Time Frame
It is the goal of the Abilene NOC to send notification out regarding
network outages within fifteen minutes of the outage or problem. This
also stands true for final notification that the resource is available,
after problem resolution.
