IQuest Agreement

UITS and IUPUI have reached an agreement with IQuest to offer students, faculty, and staff home dial-up and always-on DSL Internet service at special rates, effective immediately.

For Dial-up, The IUPUI community can choose from either the Local-Only service or the Nationwide plan.

Local-Only is $12 per month and includes:

IQuest Xtreme - Accelerated + National dialup service is $16.95 and includes all the same options, but also provides Accelerated dialup (5x faster then normal dialup) + Nationwide coverage which gives you local dialup numbers throughout the Continental U.S.

We are now offering Residential DSL at speeds of 1.5M down / 256K up for $24.95 per month with a one year contract. Or you can still have month to month service for 34.95/month. Customer will need to have a DSL modem to use this service, the cost is $49.95.

The IUPUI prices are at a discount of over 30%, which will remain in effect for as long as subscribers maintain continuous service. Current IQuest subscribers who are part of the IUPUI community are also eligible for the discount.

The benefit of this agreement is less constrained access to the Internet from home computers, as currently experienced when using the University's modem pool such as being restricted to four-hour online sessions. It also helps those who travel and need quick, convenient Web access without paying hefty long distance charges.

With IQuest, you will have Internet service that caters to both your personal and professional demands. By offering multiple e-mail addresses, you will be able to keep your business and personal e-mail separate, and/or provide individual e-mail addresses for other members of your household. It also will give users quicker access to IU network resources.

Further information about signing up for the IUPUI discount through IQuest may be found here. Under 'current e-mail address', you MUST use your IUPUI e-mail (for verification).

Or you can call IQuest at: 1-866-896-4056.
