The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and the
Indiana University Medical Center campus sits to the immediate Northwest
of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, with proximity to the Indiana State
Capitol & Office complex, Military and White River State Parks, and the
Madame Walker Theatre Center. Vehicle access to the campus may be made
from interstate highways, including I-65 and I-70, with Exits from North
and South directions onto West Street/Martin Luther King Blvd., also known
as State Road (SR) 421.
From Bloomington
Travel North on State Road 37 to either Southport Road or Edgewood Avenue (both precede the I-465 Bypass exchange #4) and turn Right (East). Travel to Bluff Road and turn Left (North). Travel several miles on Bluff Road - it becomes West Street, then Missouri Street, then back to West Street. Continue North on West Street to Michigan Street and turn Left (One Way West). Travel in Right Lane to Blackford Street (next street light) and turn Right (North). Travel one block to North Street and turn Left (West). Travel one block and turn Left to
enter North Street Garage, Guest Parking. After parking, take elevator/stairway to top floor and take elevated crosswalk (over Michigan Street) to Business/SPEA Building, continuing length of corridor to crosswalk into IUPUI University Library, entering on Level Two.

From the Northwest
Travel South from I-465 on I-65 (from Chicago, IL) to Exit #114 for
West Street/Martin Luther King Blvd (SR 421). Take West Street South
through 10th, 9th and St. Clair St.(s) and Indiana Avenue, to Michigan
Street and turn Right (One Way West). Travel in Right Lane to Blackford
Street (next street light) and turn Right (North). Travel one block to
North Street and turn Left (West). Travel one block and turn Left to
enter North Street Garage, Guest Parking. After parking, take
elevator/stairway to top floor and take elevated crosswalk (over Michigan
Street) to Business/SPEA Building, continuing length of corridor to
crosswalk into IUPUI University Library, entering on Level Two.

From the North
Travel South from I-465 on Meridian Street (SR 31) approximately 80
blocks to Michigan Street (500 N. Meridian) and turn Right (One Way West).
Take Michigan Street through Illinois St., Capitol, Senate and Indiana
Ave., and West Street. Continue West on Michigan Street, traveling in
Right Lane to Blackford Street (next street light) and turn Right (North).
Travel one block to North Street and turn Left (West). Travel one block
and turn Left to enter North Street Garage, Guest Parking. After parking,
take elevator/stairway to top floor and take elevated crosswalk (over
Michigan Street) to Business/SPEA Building, continuing length of corridor
to crosswalk into IUPUI University Library, entering on Level Two.

Travel West from I-465 on I-70 (from Columbus, OH), taking Exit for
I-65 North (to Chicago, IL). Move into far Left Lane and take Exit #114
for West Street/Martin Luther King Blvd. Take West Street South through
10th St., 9th St., St. Clair St. and Indiana Avenue, to Michigan Street
and turn Right (One Way West). Travel in Right Lane to Blackford Street
and turn Right (North). Travel one block to North Street and turn Left
(West). Travel one block and turn Left to enter North Street Garage,
Guest Parking. After parking, take elevator/stairway to top floor and
take elevated crosswalk (over Michigan Street) to Business/SPEA Building,

West (to St. Louis, MO). Take Exit #79A for West Street/Missouri Street,
traveling North through McCarty, Merrill, South, Maryland, Washington,
Ohio, and New York Streets to Michigan Street and turn Left (One Way
West). Travel in Right Lane to Blackford Street (next street light) and
turn Right (North). Travel one block to North Street and turn Left
(West). Travel one block and turn Left to enter North Street Garage,
Guest Parking. After parking, take elevator/stairway to top floor and
take elevated crosswalk (over Michigan Street) to Business/SPEA Building,
continuing length of corridor to crosswalk into IUPUI University Library,
entering on Level Two.

Travel East from I-465 or the Indianapolis International Airport
Expressway on I-70 (from St. Louis, MO) to Exit #79A for West
Street/Missouri Street. Travel North through McCarty, Merrill, South,

turn Left (One Way West). Travel in Right Lane to Blackford Street (next
