The TAI tent at IU Day featured the sonic and visual delights of five talented musicians and instrument builders from the Hoosier state. Ain Haas enthralled visitors with his Estonian kannels; Jamon Zeiler demonstrated his guitar-building techniques; and Geoff Davis entertained young and old alike with his upbeat stylings on the ukulele.
Prince Julius Adeniyi encouraged audience participation on his handmade African drums, teaching them his signature rhythm: "shave, haircut, two bits." Iuri Santos and two of his pupils demonstrated berimbau music and the Brazilian martial art Capoeira Angola, captivating audiences with their expert acrobatics.
