G581_H syllabus

Course Objectives:

1) Provide an overview and a context for understanding and using Hypnosis.  

2) Promote skill development in the following Hypnosis skills for use personally and in a therapeutic setting.
    Inductions
    Reframing
    Metaphor in Trance

 

This weekend workshop is offered for one credit hour each spring.  Students are provided within an orientation to hypnosis in mental health settings.  Training includes practice in inductions, ethical questions raised my the "False Memory" debates, and a consideration of interventions facilitated by hypnotic techniques.
