- if you are using a navigation system, it may guide you to use the Indiana 45/46 bypass. That road is undergoing a major construction project. While it is entering its latter phases, we recommend some short ways around the construction.
- The directions below will direct you to routes less likely to cause you a delay.
- Visit the IU Campus Map to see a detail of our intersection.
- From the North (Indianapolis)
1. Take Indiana State Road 37 south to Bloomington
2. Take the Walnut Street/College Avenue exit.
3. Continue south to 10th Street and turn left.
4. Stay on 10th Street until you come to Jordan Avenue (large library on your
right) and turn right.
5. Continue on Jordan Avenue through the 7th Street intersection until you come to an island in the middle of the street and turn left.
6. Park in the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage
7. We are just across the street.
- From the West (Terre Haute)
1. Follow Indiana State Road 46 to Bloomington.
2. At College Avenue (Denny’s restaurant on
the corner), turn right.
3. Follow steps 3-7 above.
- From the East (Interstate 65/Columbus, Indiana)
1. Follow Indiana State Road 46 west to Bloomington.
2. Continue past several shopping areas until you reach Jordan Avenue,
turn right.
3. When you see the island in the middle of the road, turn right to access
the Jordan Avenue Garage.
4. We are just across the street.
- From the South (Bedford, Indiana)
1. Follow Indiana State Road 37 north to Bloomington.
2. Exit at the South Walnut/Old 37 exit.
3. Continue to 3rd Street, turn right.
4. Merge onto Atwater Avenue. You will have no choice, Atwater and 3rd
become one-way streets at this point.
5. Continue on Atwater until you reach Jordan Avenue, turn left.
6. When you see the island in the middle of the road, turn right to access
the Jordan Avenue Garage.
7. We are just across the street.
