Students Profile: Seth Tober

Seth Tober is earning an undergraduate major in Telecommunications, a Business Foundations Certificate offered by the Kelley School of Business, and a Hutton Honors College Notation. In addition to academics, Seth has been an avid member of the Indiana University Student Television News Production team for four years; he also works for WTIU, the Indiana University public television station, as part of the production crew. In 2008, Seth was the winner of the both the Broadcast Education Association’s Harold E. Fellow’s Scholarship and the Department of Telecommunication’s Fred Brewer Award for Graphic Design. This year, Seth is the co-chair of the annual MultiVisions Student Communications Conference, a one-day career networking event sponsored by the Department of Telecommunications. Seth has completed internships at CBS News, Time Warner News, Hearst Digital, Brobot/Trigger Happy Productions, and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting. He is a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and has served as their secretary and web master. Seth plans to return home to New York, after graduation this spring, to pursue a career in media production.
