Students Profile: Jacob Sherry
Jacob Sherry is an undergraduate Wells Scholar earning double majors in Telecommunications and the Individualized Major Program. His IMP degree is focused on filmmaking, with a particular emphasis on directing. This semester he is studying abroad in New Zealand, where he is taking a graduate class in scriptwriting and completing an internship with New Zealand production company South Pacific Pictures. In the fall of 2009, Jacob co-directed and co-produced the short film, Two Juliets, as part of the Department of Telecommunications T436 Advanced Production class. The film is currently being submitted to several short film festivals. After graduating, Jacob plans to pursue a career in the film industry.
