Alumni & Development | Sponsor an Intern!
Does your office or company have a list of "tasks to do" but no one to do it?
Each year about 150 Telecom majors complete internships for academic credit. Typically an internship runs an entire semester or through the summer. For the advanced level student the internship is an opportunity to gain direct experience in the workaday-world.
You need a student intern from the Department of Telecommunications!
All types of telecommunications businesses can benefit from the expertise, energy and enthusiasm of a student intern -- radio and television stations, networks, cable systems, production studios, advertising and public relations agencies and telephone companies, to name a few.
What previous intern supervisors have said:
- "I don't know how you do it. It seems that each Indiana University intern that you send my way is better than the last...."
- "As a film industry executive working in NYC, our interns always came from the film schools in NYC or LA. As a graduate of IU, you can imagine my delight when our first IU intern proved to be the best student help we'd ever had. Send me more students from IU-Tel!"
- "Joe adapted well to the businesslike, quick-paced scenery here at MTV. He treated crucial developments with serious attention...His sincere attitude and devotion to our studio made him invaluable to me as the production manager."
