| Daniel Pascoe

Daniel arrived to Indiana University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Mexico City, and a Master of Divinity from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology with a concentration in Management and Organizational Behavior, and a minor in Counseling. Prior to coming to IU Daniel worked for a decade as Youth, Pastoral and Senior Minister in diverse religious organizations, where he counseled, taught and ministered among a diversity of individuals, families and communities.
After that Daniel worked for five years as Program Director of Connecting Point, a crisis center for homeless families in San Francisco, CA, where he managed a team of counselors and facilitated San Francisco's centralized family shelter placements and other emergency referrals. As Associate Director of the IU Career Development Center and Arts & Sciences Career Services he chairs and instructs career development courses for the College of Arts and Sciences, manages the Center's Peer Advising Program, and provides undergraduate and graduate students with career advising and counseling.
Daniel is a qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and the Strong Interest Inventory®. He is also certified by The Career Planning and Adult Development Network as Job and Career Development Coach, and by the Instituto Anglo-Mexicano de Cultura as Teacher of English as a Second Language. Daniel has recently published book chapters and an independent study course on the topics of Career Interests, Personality Preferences, and Career Development. In his free time he writes songs and sings, practices French, and plays basketball.
