For eligibility requirements and to apply, visit http://www.indiana.edu/~flas/
FLAS fellowships cover tuition costs and provide an estimated allowance of $2,500 for room/board and other costs associated with summer language study.
Students should see the Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center (IAUNRC), Russian and East European Institute (REEI), and African Studies Program FLAS websites for complete details on available awards.
The priority deadline for fellowship applications is February 1 with decisions to be made in March. After February 1 applications will be accepted for FLAS awards in the event that additional FLAS monies become available so that additional awards can be made.
Students should apply for FLAS funding from their home institutions, in addition to applying to IU for FLAS support. Please indicate if you are applying for a FLAS fellowship by checking the appropriate box on the Workshop application form.
Please contact us with FLAS questions or for more information about who to contact at your home institution.
