The IU Task Force on Sustainability Report
(2007) highlights some of the university’s sustainable transportation
strengths: “By its compact layout, much of the IUB campus and the
neighborhoods that surround it are readily accessible by all means of
transit.” The Sustainable
Procurement site highlights
that all campus buses on the Bloomington Campus utilize a biodiesel
fuel mix, called B20, which contains 20% soy biodiesel and 80% petroleum
diesel.
Visit the IU
Campus Bus website to find
Bus schedules and maps. The IU Campus Bus system offers a Stadium Express option to reduce the number of vehicles on campus.
Another option for students who do not need to drive their vehicle late
at night is the Night
Owl route.

*Note that his map was created in the summer of 2008
by a Sustainability Task Force summer graduate fellow and is not currently
being updated.
