Formant Shifting Algorithm Oglesbee/Liu 7/2007

This function is used as auxilliary code with Dr. Hideki Kawahara's STRAIGHT code in Matlab. It is used to shift a single formant about 10-15% in frequency. The code can be downloaded by clicking here for func3d_shift_0703.m. Instructions can be downloaded by clicking here for ShiftInstructions.pdf. A MatLab movie script can be downloaded by clicking here for n3movieComparison.m along with the two ns3gram files that are long text files and that must be in the same directory: click here for n3bid9d_f1_00.txt and click here for n3bid9d_f1_16.txt (these direct downloads avoid the dreaded .zip file....).

U Listen software 2004

IU Listen contains psychoacoustic experiment programs and tools which I wrote in Matlab for use with TDT System II and III audio hardware. Both identification and discrimination listening experiments are supported. The experimenter can easily modify various parameters to customize the programs. Those with a knowledge of Matlab can modify them to further as needed. Descriptions of the programs and tools, and information about use of System II and III are included. IU Listen software is provided as is for free.

Excitation Pattern Code

MATLAB implementation for the calculation of excitation patterns on the basilar membrane following Glasberg & Moore 1989, 1990, & 1997.  This code was developed for my own research use and is made available to the research community on an "as is" basis.
