Application Process
Click "learn more" on any of the fellowships below to information about the fellowship and to complete the Online Application Form. Students need only complete "Part I: P&A Info" of the application once, and their profile will be saved after they select "continue" at the bottom of the screen. In additional to personal information, students are required to submit a résumé and the names of two SPEA faculty references.
Once the applicant profile is saved, students will be directed to "Part II: Individual Scholarship Application." Applicants only need to submit the personal information, résumé, and references once, however, a separate essay must be submitted for each fellowship application. Essays should be tailored toward the scholarship in question and explain why the student deserves serious consideration for the specific fellowship. Students can access the essay portion of the application as many times as they chose and will not be timed out; however, applicants cannot save their work and return to the essay later. Students are encouraged to craft their essay(s) in a word processing program and then copy and paste their work into the online form.
