- All applicants: Please be advised that any recommenders you list on the online application will not be contacted until AFTER you submit the application and pay the fee. You are encouraged to submit your application well in advance of the February 1 priority deadline so that your recommendations will be received on time. If you experience technical difficulties with the recommendation system we encourage you to have your recommenders submit letters through SPEA’s Masters Application email account, speaapps@indiana.edu.
* Please know that only one personal statement is required. You may submit your personal statement by uploading it to the University Application or as Section III. of the Departmental Questions Form.
* Resumes should be uploaded to the University Application. It is not necessary to email your resume and personal statement to speaapps@indiana.edu if you have uploaded them elsewhere.

Interviews or School Visits
SPEA does not require a formal interview as part of the admission process; however, a campus visit is strongly encouraged. Appointments with faculty, staff, current students and class visits can be scheduled. Please contact us to arrange a visit and allow at least one week's advance notice for us to best personalize your visit day.
