Career Courses and Internship Classifications

Career Courses and Internship Classifications
The Office of Career Services teaches one undergraduate course (BE252/267) that focuses on career development for SPEA students. BE252/267 is a required course for all SPEA undergraduates and constitutes 2 credit hours of class and one credit of internship experience. The course is a block enrollment course meaning that students who register before the late add/drop period will automatically be registered for V381/H466, which constitutes the third credit hour. V381/H466 is comprised of 200 hours of on-site internship experience. Students are responsible for finding an internship experience that suits their academic needs. If you are unsure where to begin your internship search, or are having trouble acquiring an internship, please call (812)855-9639 to set up an appointment with a career counselor.

Your internship must be approved by the Office of Career services before you begin your internship. Information on how to register can be found by clicking "Register Your Internship."
