ATMOSPHERIC CHEMISTRY AND BIOGEOCHEMISTRY

Applicants are sought for a postdoctoral position to begin in spring/summer 2012 in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Biogeochemistry Laboratories at Indiana University - a collaborative research group centered in a new multidisciplinary research facility. The appointment is for 2 years with annual renewal based upon performance. The successful candidate should have research experience in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, or biogeochemistry and an interest in studying biogenic emissions into the atmosphere. Proficiency in the use of spectroscopic techniques, mass spectrometry, and chromatography to analyze trace gases in environmental matrices is desirable. Knowledge of modern biochemical techniques (FISH, fluorescence and light microscopy, environmental genomics) is also of interest. More information can be found at http://www.indiana.edu/%7erafflab/.
