Lecturer in Health Administration

NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS
INDIANA UNIVERSITY-BLOOMINGTON CAMPUS

Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs on the Bloomington Campus seeks a candidate for the position of lecturer with a background in health care administration, management and/or policy. The candidate will teach in the Health Administration Major which is part of a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) degree program – one of four undergraduate degrees offered in the School. The successful candidate will possess an advanced degree (such as a MPH, MHA, MBA, Ph.D. or equivalent) in health care administration, public health, business, public administration/policy, economics, political science, sociology, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and experience teaching undergraduate courses in health care policy/management, contemporary administrative health care issues, and/or strategic planning in health care organizations. In addition to teaching, the candidate will provide teaching related service, including expert advice on curriculum changes, serve on teaching-related committees, provide faculty leadership for the Health Administration major, and serve as mentor/advisor for health administration students. Career experience in the health care sector is valued, although not required.
