Josh Stewart is studying Marine Biology through the Individualized Major Program. He is a research assistant in the Underwater Science lab and has worked with IU on research projects in the Florida Keys and Dominican Republic. Josh recently returned from Australia where he worked with researches from James Cook University on behavioral trends in juvenile fish.
James Zeigler is currently working towards his BS in Environmental Science through the College of Arts and Sciences with a concentration in freshwater ecosystem science. He is also working on a certificate in Underwater Resource Management and is a certified PADI Rescue diver working towards his Divemaster certification. His senior research project is focusing on the biodiversity and water quality of freshwater caverns in Southeastern Dominican Republic.
Mylana Haydu is a senior who is currently working towards a double major in Psychology and Anthropology through the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, she is acquiring a Certificate in Underwater Resource Management through the School of HPER. She is a certified PADI diver who has completed various other PADI certifications offered through courses at Indiana University. She is also working toward her Divemaster certification. Mylana aspires to have a career in which the use of scientific Scuba is utilized to protect environmental resources, specifically coastal and marine resources.
