Enrollment Requirements for Selected University Services

	Fall/Spring/Summer
Fellowships 1,2 Assistantships 4	Grad. - 6 hrs. 3 Grad. - 6 hrs.
Athletic Committee 6	Undergrad. - 12 hrs.6 Grad. - 6 hrs.6
Residential Programs and Services 5	Undergrad - 1 hr. Grad. - 1 hr.

1. Except for those enrolled in thesis or dissertation hours.
2. Some fellowships require enrollment in more than 6 credit hours. Consult the IU office providing the fellowship for more information.
3. For summer fellowships, consult the IU office providing the fellowship for enrollment requirements.
4. Graduate students on an assistantship (student academic appointment) at 37.5% FTE or greater must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
5. Except for those deemed eligible by the Manager of Assignments.
6. Depending upon status in athletics. Graduate hours could be higher or lower. Check with Athletics if you have questions.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs considers eight-week and non-standard duration courses differently than the university for full-time status purposes.
