Dr. Charles Chancellor and Dr. Shu Cole have published a new study, entitled "Tourism and Hospitality Study for Region 9: Needs Assessment, Career Opportunities and the Impact of Tourism to the Local Communitites."
This research project in southeastern Indiana is funded through the Economic Opportunities through Education by 2015 (EcO15) and is focused on education and careers associated with a number of industries for 10 counties in Southeastern Indiana. Drs. Cole’s and Chancellor’s study will identify the employment trends in the hospitality/tourism sector and develop a work plan to build the necessary infrastructure aligning the educational system with the industry.
