on the right. The name of the rock and its code (in boxes) are at the lower left, as is
the Ferm code. The left-hand side of the page is designed for rapid comparison and
description to help workers, such as drillers. The right-hand side provides
contextual information of value to a geologist. The back of the page contains
additional details about the sample.
