Rimmed Pot

A nearly complete pottery vessel from La Aleta, this and many highly decorated bowls or storage containers were recovered. They may have held offerings to the Taino spirits.


Typology

This is a picture of John Foster with the pottery vessel after extraction from the La Atleta.
