Indian Ceramic Styles
Dominican Republic Artifacts

This ceramic piece is representative of the types of bowls that were
created by the Taino Indians. The section of the bowl on the right shows
a lipped edge that has a handle attached. The other smaller pieces
display the types of decorative markings and techniques that were used on
the outer surfaces of much of the ceramics associated with the indians.
