Thanks to the generous contributions from the family and friends of Daniel E. WIllard (member of the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs faculty, 1977-1998), we have built an observation platform along University Lake at Griffy Woods as a memorial to Professor Willard's many contributions to IU and "the commons." The Willard Pavilion enhances the usefulness and educational value of the nearby Field Lab and surrounding preserve property.
