Lowbush Blueberry Scientific Name: Vaccinium augustifolium Description: A low, much branched shrub that forms clumps, spreading by underground stems. Leaves mostly narrow and always finely-toothed. Each tooth bristle-tipped. Habitat: Tundras, bogs, and barrens. Range: Newfoundland, Labrador, north Ontario, and Minnesota to Delaware, Maryland, west Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and northeast Iowa.
