Scientific Name: Pinus sylvestris
Description: Beautiful, large, introduced tree with crown of spreading branches that become rounded and irregular and rich blue-green foliage. Height: 70'. Diameter: 2'+
Habitat: Various soils from loams to sand; tolerating city smoke.
Range: Native across Europe and N. Asia, south to Turkey. Naturalized locally in SE. Canada and NE. United States; cultivated on the West Coast.
