Scientific Name: Ligustrum vulgare
Description: A shrub introduced from Europe, largely used for hedges, 4-10' high, with long, slender spreading, abundantly leafy branches.
Habitat: An escape from cultivation, along thickets and roadsides.
Range: From Ontario and western New York to Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Type: Shrub
