Wild Hydrangea

Scientific Name: Hydrangea spp.
Description: A smooth, wide-branched shrub 2-8' high, with slender, light brown twigs.
Habitat: Mostly on the rocky banks of streams.
Range: Southern New York and New Jersey, south to Florida, and west to Iowa and Missouri. Common in the valley of the Delaware River.
Type: Shrub
