Scientific Name: Berberis thunbergil
Description: A remarkably beautiful species usually planted for hedges. The berries are bright shining scarlet.
Habitat: In thickets and on sterile or sandy ground.
Range: Running wild throughout southeastern northeast generally near the coast.
Type: Shrub
