Description: Cap 9-30 mm broad, fan-shaped, dry, densely hairy, whitish gray when dry to brownish gray when moist, margin lobed and also hairy. Stalk absent.
Habitat: Several or in dense clusters, sometimes from a common base on a wide variety of hardwood sticks, stumps, and logs. Widely distributed.
Edible: Nonpoisonous.
