Description: Similar to Ganoderma tsugae, fruiting body forms shelflike, stalkless or short-stalked conk on stumps and logs. Caps 5-25 cm broad, hairless, shellacked, red to reddish orange.
Habitat: Found on hardwoods and has a light brownish context.
Edible: Unknown.
