Daedaleopsis confragosa

Common Name: Blushing Bracket
Description: Fruit body annual; no stem. Bracket up to 12 cm across, single or tiered, convex to flat, with a thin, acute margin; buff to light brown, with concentric bands of color; hairy to smooth.
Habitat: On dead wood or in the wounds of living trees in hardwood forests. Common throughout eastern North America and found in the Northwest and Southwest, but infrequent in western North America.
