Description: Cap 5-15 cm across, soon flattened and then depressed, margin incurved, often wavy, irregular in shape; dull yellow-brown or tan; dry, subtomentose to polished when old. Stem 25-50 by 5-10 mm high and wide. Habitat: often in large numbers on moist ground under ash trees. Common. Found widespread throughout northern and eastern North America.
