Hairy Wood-mint
Scientific Name: Blephilia hirsuta
Family: Lamiaceae
Description: 2-lipped corolla, pale blue with purple spots or dull white
Habitat: Rich woods in deep leaf mold
Range: Eastern United States, west to Colorado
Comments: Foliage is often eaten by insects to such an extent that whole specimens are usually difficult to obtain.
