Description: Several small flower heads of white or pale purple ray flowers surrounding yellow or purple disk flowers are on one side of straggly, divergent branches
Habitat: Fields, thickets
Range: Eastern North America west to Tennessee and Arkansas
Comments: One of a group of closely related and difficult to distinguish Asters.
