Report Length: 5 pages (double-spaced and typed)

Report is due: Monday, October 16, 2008 at the beginning of class

Write a book report (a detailed book review) of any of the books listed on the course web site’s bibliography page: http://www.indiana.edu/~polinter/bibliog_polinter.htm. The report should include a summary of the arguments contained in the book along with criticisms (constructive or otherwise) of those arguments. I would like you to aim for a high enough quality of the report so that I can post it to the course web site for the benefit of others who might be interested in the subject. I would appreciate receiving the report in both hard copy and digital form (a diskette or an email attachment is fine).

Please consult the instructor if you wish to use book not on the bibliography but on a subject closely related to the course.
