My Review
This movie protrays the struggle with ones self during the Vietnam War. It suggests that we were not just at war with the Vietnamese, but our soldiers were at war with themselves and keeping a grip on reality. It is a disturbing glimpse into the head of one such soldier that lost the battle with himself. While the film was a bit too dark for me, it brings about a new aspect of the Vietnam War when the Vietnam War was not being discussed in Hollywood which makes it a landmark film.
